Tosca Noir

Carole is a founding member of Overdressed. After graduating with her doctorate in 2020, she was looking for a way to keep singing, even as professional opportunities were limited by the on going pandemic. What started as fun little front yard concerts with her friend, Elizabeth (Overdressed's other co-founder) has now grown into a full non-profit organization with multiple concert series all aimed at making opera a classical vocal music more accessible.

When she is not working on Overdressed projects, Carole also sings with BorderCrosSing and will be starting as the soprano soloist with the Twin Cities Catholic Choral this coming October. She also holds a day job as an executive assistant. It turns out that coordinating musician rehearsal schedules through grad school and beyond is a transferable life skill! Thanks music degree!

Carole is also the creator of this adaptation of Tosca. As a less than perfect audience member herself, she enjoys taking operas and finding the meat of the story and music. Grand opera is an incredible sight to behold (go see a full show if you get the chance!) But there is something special about stripping down these old stories that really heightens the emotional impact. Carole hopes you enjoy this presentation of Tosca as much as she enjoyed making it!

Benjamin Dutcher is a Twin Cities based singer, actor, and educator who has been seen on numerous stages across the country. His repertoire covers a vast range of both opera and musical theater, and includes on-camera appearances for History Channel and PBS. Previous engagements include work with Theater Latté Da, History Theatre, Asolo Repertory Theater, Frank Theatre, Artistry Theater, Trademark Theater, The Playwright's Center, Six Points Theater, Opera Columbus, Out of the Box Opera, Skylark Opera, Mill City Summer Opera, St. Croix Valley Opera, and Minnesota Opera. Jake Endres lives in St. Paul, MN and freelances as a singer, actor, writer, composer, and music director. He has appeared with many regional organizations, including The Minnesota Orchestra, The Flying Foot Forum/Guthrie Theater, the Metropolitan Symphony (as a regular creative partner), The Children’s Theatre Company, History Theatre, Nautilus Music-Theater, Northern Sky Theater, Schubert Club, Gremlin Theatre, Open Eye Theatre, Border CrosSing, The Rose Ensemble, Bach Society of MN, Dakota Valley Symphony, and Austin Symphony Orchestra. Since 2020, Jake has produced an eclectic series of backyard concerts called Smoke House Stage. Luke is thrilled to make his debut with Overdressed and get a taste of performing opera, even if he is in a non-singing role. Luke has worked as an actor, writer, director, and musician with various theatre companies in the Twin Cities and beyond. Some favorite roles include Chris Bean/Inspector Carter in The Play That Goes Wrong at the Old Log Theatre, Cardinal Richelieu in The Three Musketeers at Lakeshore Players Theatre, Canadian Ranger Montgomery Ward in Hairball! The Bigfoot Musical Adventure with Open Eye Theatre, Mr. Fox in Fantastic Mr. Fox at Sidekick Theatre, and Bob Cratchit in Christmas Carol: A Ghost Story with Wayward Theatre Co. Luke holds a B.F.A. in Musical Theatre from Ithaca College and he was most recently seen at the Hive Collaborative just last month playing piano and singing for The Victory Romp hosted by Melanie Wehrmacher. In addition to performing, Luke also very much enjoys puttering at the piano, reading historical biographies, and spending time with friends and family -- especially his wife, Lauren

As an active pianist and organist, Jordan Buchholtz regularly works, performs, and records with both vocalists and instrumentalists as well as local chamber ensembles and opera companies in and around the Twin Cities in Minnesota. She has worked on shows and projects with Lyric Opera of the North; St. Croix Valley Opera; Skylark Opera; An Opera Theatre; Oratorio Society of MN; Bach Society and Opera Reading Project. She is a new member of Overdressed and is excited to be part of their first staged show, Tosca!

Recent projects include: pianist for Opera Reading Project’s Scenes Program (Feb. 2026) and Hydrogen Jukebox (April 2026); music director & pianist for Magic Flute for Kids & The Lost Prince with St. Croix Valley Opera (April 2026), Opera Reading Project's productions of Pagliacci & Alice Tierney (June 2025); Ofrenda (April 2025); and Transformations (Jan 2025); Source Song Composition Voice and Piano Competition (second place winner); and Lyric Opera of the North’s 2024 production of The Impresario & Circe on Lake Superior; music director for St. Croix Valley Opera’s production of Figaro for Kids (2024).

Jordan serves as the principal organist and pianist as well as the Handbell Choir Director at Mount Olivet Lutheran Church in South Minneapolis. She started the Fika Music Series at Mount Olivet in the Fall of 2023, which is a series of free chamber music concerts for the public featuring artists and musicians who teach at the Mount Olivet School of Music and the Arts and who are regular performers at the Church and the surrounding community. From 2018 - 2024 she was on faculty teaching and playing piano for Dorian Summer Camps at Luther College. Jordan holds degrees from the University of Minnesota (DMA); University of Missouri-Kansas City (Artist Certificate & MM); and Luther College (BA).
